General information

Your insurance status statement is an excerpt of your social security records. It provides information on the periods for which you were insured – your insurance periods – and on your insurance entitlement – your contributory basis.

Procedure

  • You can request a statement of your personal insurance periods (insurance status) from any branch of the Austrian social security institutions. You will be asked to present some form of official photo ID.
  • In the case of some social security providers, you will also be able to order your insurance status statement online. Please follow the link to your provider under “Information on…”
