Your health insurance provider will cover the costs of all approved medications prescribed by your doctor.

There are certain medications that are not automatically covered by your health insurance. If you wish to acquire such medications, you will first need to obtain the authorisation of your health insurance provider or you will otherwise have to pay for them yourself.

Insured persons are required to pay a nominal prescription charge for each prescription. Persons registered as socially vulnerable are exempted from payment of the prescription charge.
