Pension Insurance

Pension insurance is structured according to occupational groups.

Hourly workers, salaried employees, mine workers, tradespersons, farmers, self-employed persons, and notaries each have their own pension insurance provider.

If an individual is insured with several pension insurance providers due to having had more than one occupation, responsibility for paying the pension lies with the pension insurance provider with whom the greatest amount of pension accrual time was logged during the 15 years preceding the start of the pension.
